Te Hiaroa are a dynamic and dedicated team of Kaiako Reo Maaori who uphold and promote te reo Maaori me oona tikanga teaching our Years 1 – 6 tauira.

There are two Level 1 Immersion akomanga/class Maunga Pikitea Years 1 – 2 and Te Ara Puueru Years 3 – 4. There is one Level 2 Bilingual akomanga/class Te Pane o Mataoho Years 5 – 6.

Our Kaiako provides engaging, authentic and meaningful learning experiences for all tamariki through the delivery of Te Marautanga o Aotearoa and the New Zealand Curriculum Refresh. We take pride in our strong connections with whaanau, hapori and mana whenua.
