Our PTA

Our school has an amazing PTA made up of dedicated and committed parents who work together and volunteer their time to support our students, teachers, and the wider community. We have ‘Friends of the PTA’ who also play a crucial role contributing their time and effort to school-wide events.

The core responsibilities of the PTA is to plan and organise fundraising events to support school projects e.g. Swimming Pool Refurbishment, community and social events and continue building strong relationships with staff and the parents within the wider community. The aim is to promote a strong partnership and parent involvement in school life.

Historically, the PTA has organised a variety of school events and one of our most significant projects was fundraising for the new playground which opened in 2022 raising over $80,000 to create a space that all students can enjoy. Building on this success, our dedicated team of volunteers has now turned its focus to a new project, the restoration of the school pool, a much-loved facility that has been part of our community since 1955.

If you are interested and would like to be part of the PTA or contribute towards supporting any PTA events throughout the school year, please contact the school office who will pass on your details to the PTA Committee. We are very grateful for your time ‘big or small’ as it makes a huge difference.

Meetings are held once a month in the school staffroom and this is led by the PTA Chairperson who is currently Eli Tomic. We look forward to hearing from you and are excited for those who would like to join the PTA.
